The Rolling Stones No. 2 is the second studio album by The Rolling Stones, released in 1965. Like their debut album, this album mainly consists of cover songs, although this time there are three Jagger/Richards compositions.
According to Bill Wyman, John Lennon said of it "The album's great, but I don't like five-minute numbers".
12 X 5 is their second American album, released in 1964. It basically consists of their second EP Five by Five as well as songs from No. 2 and singles of the era. The Rolling Stones, Now! is their third American album, released in 1965. It consists of the majority of No. 2 as well as "Mona (I Need You Baby)" (from The Rolling Stones), "Surprise, Surprise", two songs that ended up on the UK version of Out of Our Heads and the single "Little Red Rooster".
