- Accidental Misnaming: See Mr. Ozio and John Meloncamp/Mellingcamp.
- April Fools' Day: A day filled with Blueballs tracks greeted listeners on April 1, 2019
- Bait-and-Switch: As with SiIvaGunner, the audio tracks are in fact disguised mashups and remixes.
- Content Leak: In-universe, the channel occasionally "leaks" music from at-the-time unreleased albums, most notably a couple tracks from Ariana Grande's thank u, next.

Defictionalization: All flacs from Mr. High Quality act as accurate recreations of the works described on its page. - Giving Radio to the Romans: Downplayed, but JayJay 2.0 gives Red, the "owner" of Music - Topic channel, music released multiple years after the death of said channel.
- Gratuitous French: On July 14, all thumbnails have the heading rendered in French for Bastille Day.
- In the Style of: Like Siivagunner, some tracks are musical, like "Ocean Man" in the style of "Crab Rave" by Noisestorm.
- Kayfabe Music: Tracks are usually treated as ordinary songs donated to the channel or found on albums lying around the uploader's house.
- Meaningful Release Date: French songs are frequently uploaded on Bastille Day, Christmas songs on Christmas, and jokes of a certain theme on April Fools.
- Artists' birthdays are often celebrated, most notably Pitbull's.
- Averted with Bad Apple, which was supposed to be uploaded on Amelie Poulain's "birthday", but was instead uploaded a couple days later.
- Non-Indicative Name: Some videos don't use the advertised track at all, as a more complete example of Bait-and-Switch.
- Place Beyond Time: Possibly where Bastien, JayJay 2.0, Red, and Biggie end up after getting hit by the time machine.

- Shout-Out: "Harry Nilsson - Got to Get Up" is a reference to the usage of the song in Russian Doll.
- Time Machine: JayJay 2.0 owns one that looks like the TARDIS.
