* AlternateAlbumCover: The original cover of ''Electric Ladyland'' was simply a large group of nude women (that's front ''and'' back cover). This cover somehow managed to survive being used in the UK, but the USA (and later CD) version of the album uses Karl Ferris' psychedelic portrait. Interestingly enough, ''neither'' of these were approved by the band: Hendrix had explicitly told his record label that for the cover he wanted a photo of him with some children, which was taken by Linda Eastman (later [[Music/{{Wings}} Linda]] [[Music/PaulMcCartney McCartney]]). However, both of the band's labels (Track Records in England, Creator/RepriseRecords in America) proceeded to ignore them and pick what ended up on the final product.

Tyop On The Cover is no longer a trivia trope, and its categorization as such was done unilaterally.

''Electric Ladyland'' is the third and final studio album by The Music/JimiHendrix Experience, released in 1968. It is also the band's only double album (though Hendrix himself had several double albums released under his name - posthumously). It scored huge hits with songs like "Crosstown Traffic", "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" and, of course, the immortal cover of Music/BobDylan's song "All Along the Watchtower" from ''Music/JohnWesleyHarding'', famous for the iconic epic introduction.

* FanserviceCover: The album cover with all the naked women was intended that way, without the band's approval. Hendrix in particular disliked it because he saw it as perpetuating a swinging-black-stud image that made it harder for him to be taken seriously as a musician.

'''''Electric Ladyland''''' is the third and final studio album by The Music/JimiHendrix Experience, released in 1968.
