- "I just know something bad is going to happen!" Explanation Courage opens the door and sees a young girl playing a song on the violin. But then she stops and then shoots a Nightmare Face at him.
- STUPID DOG! YOU MADE ME LOOK BAD! Explanation The opening sequence ends with Eustace saying this to Courage right before scaring him with his Ooga Booga mask.
- It's Doc Gerbil's World... It's Doc Gerbil's World...Explanation Courage needs to save a shrunken Eustice and Muriel from Doc Gerbil, but he has to go through a whole boat ride anyone who has been forced on ""it's a small world"" can sympathize with.

- You twit. Explanation The Computer frequently says this when addressing Courage.
- Return the slaaaaaab... or suffer my cuuuuuurse... Explanation King Ramses warning that his slab must be returned. The distinctively stiff CGI model for Ramses and his airy voice resulted in the bit becoming a Signature Scene for the show, making it popular to quote and parody among fans.
- What's your offer? Explanation Eustace refuses to give the slab back without getting a large sum of money in return. Often posted in replies to memes based around the "return the slab" line.
- King RAAAAAAAAMSEEEEEEEEEEES!!! The man in gauze! The man in gauze! He's no Santa Claus! Explanation The second curse King Ramses inflicts on the Bagges is annoying them with a record player incessantly playing this song, which was remembered (and consequently parodied) for being hilariously incongruous with the other curses of sending a flood and a swarm of locusts at the Bagges' house.
- Come oooooooon.... Explanation King Ramses expresses his annoyance at Courage thwarting the flood curse by unplugging a giant plug in the basement.
- Hullabaloo and howdy-do, musty prawns and Timbuktu, yeltsy-bye and hibberty poo, kick 'em in the dishpan, hoo hoo hoo! Explanation A... rather unconventional exorcism ritual.

- You're not perfect. Explanation Perhaps appropriately, the final episode contained the most spectacular example of Nightmare Fuel in the entire series. The scene in question involves Courage having a nightmare where Eustace's bugle (depicted as a CGI alien fetus) tells him this.
- Watch where ya goin, ya foo!Explanation Recurring character Di Lung yells this out whenever he ends up being cut through in a scene, but then always ends up running into something.
- (Insert some statement) or my name is (insert silly name here). And it's not! Explanation A sort of Mad Libs Catchphrase that Courage often uses to express his suspicions.
- The Stupid One. He [insert some moronic and potentially disastrous activity], didn't he? Explanation Shirly the medium states the fact of Eustace's next act of stupidity.
- A picture from the pilot short, where Eustace is wiping his sweaty brow as he begins turning into a chicken, is often used in response to particularly lewd pictures.
- "Nope. Not gettin' out of this chair."Explanation Eustace stubbornly refusing to take part in the episode's plot for the first half of Klub Katz refusing to get out of his chair even after a Gilligan Cut and when he and the chair were in immediate danger.
- "That's it. I'm getting me mallet." Explanation Eustace's knee-jerk response to whenever a monster threatens him, which quickly became a popular reaction image to describe intense anger.
- "STUPID DOG I'M FUCKIN BALLIN!!!"Explanation A GIF of a giant Eustace dribbling a basketball that comes from a Cartoon Network NBA All-Star Slam promo.
