* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: Kokonotsu catches Hotaru and his dad at night in the store with the lights off making a sketchy deal. The dagashi that they have is treated like an addictive drug where Yo goes into withdrawal.

* ObliviousToLove: According to Tou, Saya has been in love with Kokonotsu for a long time and her feelings for him are very transparent. Kokonotsu is just too dense to realize it.

In fact, the marble bottle that ''ramune'' is known for wasn't even created until that same year. The part about ''ramune'' being based on the English "lemonade" is correct, however, which is the original flavor.
