Spelling/grammar fix(es)

* The Repentance expansion of VideoGame/TheBindingOfIsaac makes twinking possible by upgrading the MisbegottenMultiplayerMode into "True Co-op". Secondary players can now properly select any of the unlocked starting characters to play as.Prior to Repentance, you simply took some of the primary player's health and played as a clone of them with weaker stats. So nothing's stopping you from choosing one with traits or items that counteract the weakness of the other player's character. This makes obtaining unlocks exclusive to either character significantly easier. This is a Downplayed example, however. As none of the characters are actually "stronger" than any others, but simply have varying starting stats and intended playstyles.
** One particular starting character is a straight example of this trope: The Lost. This is because players who have died in True Co-op remain in the game as tiny ghosts, and are then revived when the remaining player(s) beat the boss of that floor. The Lost's whole gimmick is that he's very powerful at the cost of being a OneHitPointWonder. So as long as you've still got another player alive, you have a chance at getting that hit point back.

* As of the Repentance expansion in VideoGame/TheBindingOfIsaac this is now possible due to the addition of "true co-op": Secondary players can now play as full-on characters from the character select screen, rather than a weak, floating baby. * Literature/ChrysalisRinoZ: The System operates on strict "last hit gets all the XP" rules, which is practically an open invitation to twink.
** This has led to practices such as mercenaries being paid to take the children of nobles and wealthy merchants into the Dungeon and feed them XP, disabling monsters and then letting the children finish them.
** The Colony also uses it extensively in their own training "antcademies", except without any payment; a high-level Brood Tender will supervise a group of hatchlings as they go through a "farm," and will subdue any monsters too strong for them, then allow them to finish the job.
** Anthony even offers it as a service to their human allies, to help the humans upgrade their classes and break out of their CantCatchUp cycle.

* As of the Repentance expansion, this is possible in VideoGame/TheBindingOfIsaac when playing co-op with at least one player as a particular character. The Tainted version of Jacob & Esau removes their playstyle as TheDividual and instead has Jacob alone, constantly being pursued by Esau, who is now an invincible and powerful angry demon out to kill him and any enemies that stand in his way. When a player dies in co-op, they become a tiny, invincible ghost that can only inflict ScratchDamage until they're revived. If this happens to Tainted Jacob, Esau doesn't stop trying to attack the dead player. Meaning the dead player can easily bait Esau into destroying bosses for the living player(s) very quickly. This helps tremendously in obtaining unlocks for the characters that they picked.

*** Made even easier with the appropriately-named Legendary Gem of Ease. It has two bonuses: the first gives you bonus XP for every enemy killed. The second removes level requirements from any weapon you socket it into. So you can use endgame weapons on your fresh character, and get more XP from killing enemies as well.

* This completely broke the [=PvP=] in VideoGame/DarkSoulsI, as players would use mules to transfer fully-upgraded endgame weapons and armour to a low-level character, or simply play through the game at a low level and acquire said gear naturally if they were good enough at the game to do so, in order to invade new players in the starting areas and utterly obliterate them. The Remastered version tried to address this somewhat. In addition to the normal level-based matchmaking, it also takes into account the highest-upgraded weapon you've obtained on that character (not just the highest you currently have in your inventory, but the highest you have ever had in your inventory, even if you've gotten rid of it). However, it only cares about weapons, so twinks could still wear fully-upgraded armour without issue, and since spellcasting tools can't even be upgraded in the first place (with the exception of the Pyromancy Flame, which does count towards your highest weapon level), this just caused people to go get the most powerful spells and use those to one-shot the noobs instead.

This was enough of an issue that Remastered version of the game addressed this by also having your maximum equipment upgrade take in account to matchmaking.

** In every Franchise/Pokemon game since the second generation, the Exp. Share item serves this specific purpose, giving half of the experience points earned from a battle to either a weaker party member who holds it or the entire team, depending on the game, when ordinarily it would only go to those who actively participated in the battle.
** The game counts any Pokémon which appeared in the battle as having "actively participated", even if it didn't do anything and was immediately switched out for another, stronger mon. If it's holding the Exp. Share or a Lucky Egg, it can even gain significantly more experience than the mons that were actually fighting.
