Pacoo Fruit Tribe (水果部落), also known as Pacoo, was a Chinese media franchise revolving on CGI and Adobe Flash animations and a browser MMO game, and was created by Guangzhou-based Dreamspace Digital Entertainment in approximately 2003. It is set in a colorful fantasy world populated by anthropomorphic fruit, most of them children. Its protagonists include two durian brothers, and in later works, a lemon boy and a starberry girl.

It was once reported that the Disney Channel and Japan-based NHK bought rights to broadcast a 200 episode Pacoo animated series in 2006 and 2007 respectively. These events were noted as milestones on Chinese animation entering the international markets, including Japan's. Unfortunately, there is a lack of indication that the cartoons actually broadcast to those markets. By the early 2010s or so, the franchise's projects had become dormant and mostly disappeared to this day. One piece of its legacy was the abundant toy merchandise, including plushes, solar toys and mini-dollhouses.

Adventurous visitors may enter this partly-broken archived version of the Pacoo website containing animations and games. There is also this 2012 archived version of the newer (and last) incarnation of the Pacoo website and another website which works as of 2019. Some if not all episodes (in Mandarin) are scattered on the internet.

Pacoo Fruit Tribe contains examples of:

  • Anthropomorphic Food: The cast comprises of fruit such as durians, a pear, a pineapple, an apple, a peach, a grape, and watermelon.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: The older Pacoo website appears to focus primarily on the durian brothers and doesn't contain many characters that appear in this page's image. Likewise, there are characters that don't appear in the franchise's later installments.
  • Toilet Humour: One of the old Flash games is about one of the durian brothers farting bubbles that rise and hit sea creatures.
  • Waddling Head: Most characters have fruit-shaped bodies with limbs protruding out.
