* ''Film/{{Bonchi}}'': Kikuji sends his three mistresses, Ponta, Ofuku, and Hisako, to a remote monastery to protect them from American bombs. Not long after the war is over he comes to the monastery to retrieve them and is surprised to see that they are all taking a bath together. It's pretty sexy, as they're all naked and splashing about and touching in a very sapphic way, but as they chatter about what they want to do with their lives he suddenly realizes that he doesn't want to have anything to do with any of them anymore. He turns around and leaves unseen, and cuts off contact with all three for good.

* In ''Manga/HellTeacherNube'', we see the main characters being chased out of their baths by horrendous mold, hauntings, and worse. Then they all visit a public bathhouse while they figure out who's causing all this trouble. Bath scenes were split evenly between the male and female classmates and teachers. [[spoiler:It turns out that the {{youkai}} living in the bath house were the culprits, as the place is about to close ''and'' the kindly owner is being pressured by {{yakuza}}; Nube finds out, talks to them and they join forces to help the lady ''and'' kick the yakuza out.]]

* ''VideoGame/TalesOfTheAbyss'' has an entire set of costumes related to the bath episode. Actually wearing them into a fight nets you hilarious skits, including one where a character blames the fact that they're fighting in swimwear on mind control.
** ''VideoGame/TalesOfSymphonia'', the predecessor to ''Abyss'', and [[VideoGame/TalesOfSymphoniaDawnOfTheNewWorld its sequel]] included furo scenes, and also provided new costumes for the characters. Both times, [[TheHero Lloyd]] is made to look like a complete pervert, but he's more of a [[AccidentalPervert victim of circumstance]].

Furo Scene is a bathing scene involving the use of the Japanese style of bathing mostly for the purpose of {{Fanservice}}. A furo is a Japanese bathing tub similar to the Western hot tub; it is not used for washing but for soaking and relaxing. Most homes in Japan, and even some apartments, have one; they are usually big enough for two or more persons to bathe together. Bathing in [[PublicBathhouseScene public baths]], called "sentou", is a common social activity, although it is typically sex-segregated. The process of a Furo differs from western-style bathing: the entire household uses the same bathwater, but keeps it clean by first showering and washing off outside of the bathtub and then getting in solely for the purpose of relaxation.

* ''Literature/GirlsKingdom'' has a furo scene at least [[OnceAnEpisode twice a book]], almost always with Misaki and Himeko bathing together with descriptions of them washing each other, chatting, and occasionally torturing each other with the shower head (specifically Himeko targeting Misaki's ticklish side with it). The narrative likes to use these for exposition about the school and whatever's going on, comedy, and shipping fuel.
