[[spoiler:It turns out that the {{youkai}} living in the bath house were the culprits, as the place is about to close ''and'' the kindly owner is being pressured by {{yakuza}}; Nube finds out, talks to them and they join forces to help the lady ''and'' kick the yakuza out.]]
** Izuna also [[MsFanservice got the majority of gratuitous bath scenes]] in her own apartment, to the point that her [[{{Youkai}} Tube Foxes]] often popped up with signs reading "[[LampshadeHanging Fanservice]]!" to conveniently cover her assets.

* ''VideoGame/TalesOfTheAbyss'' has an entire set of costumes related to the bath episode. Actually wearing them into a fight nets you hilarious skits, including one where a character blames the fact that they're fighting in swimwear on mind control.
** ''VideoGame/TalesOfSymphonia'', the predecessor to ''Abyss'', and [[VideoGame/TalesOfSymphoniaDawnOfTheNewWorld its sequel]] included furo scenes, and also provided new costumes for the characters. Both times, [[TheHero Lloyd]] is made to look like a complete pervert, but he's more of a [[AccidentalPervert victim of circumstance]].

Furo Scene is a bathing scene involving the use of the Japanese style of bathing mostly for the purpose of {{Fanservice}}. A furo is a Japanese bathing tub similar to the Western hot tub; it is not used for washing but for soaking and relaxing. Most homes in Japan, and even some apartments, have one; they are usually big enough for two or more persons to bathe together. Bathing in [[PublicBathhouseScene public baths]], called "sentou", is a common social activity, although it is typically sex-segregated. The process of a Furo differs from western-style bathing: the entire household uses the same bathwater, but keeps it clean by first showering and washing off outside of the bathtub and then getting in solely for the purpose of relaxation.

* In the series ''LightNovel/TheFamiliarOfZero'', Saito basically introduces the concept to the rest of the cast. Although they apparently already had one.

* Episode 7 of ''LightNovel/ThePetGirlOfSakurasou'' has several of the main characters taking a bath in a public bathhouse due to the plumbing being broken in their apartment. While the girls are busy doing SkinshipGrope, Jin tells a joke at Sorata's expense by loudly asking him which girl he's fantasizing about. Which causes Nanami to hurl a bucket at his head.

* ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles3'': When they get back from their first mission, the team goes to the bath house to relax. Absolutely no one finds anything strange or interesting about mixed-gender bathing; Lanz and Eunie have an argument while buck-naked, and no one cares. CensorSteam is used for the audience.

* Very common in Manga/{{Sekirei}}, which neatly combines fanservice with significant plot and character development. The [[IncrediblyLamePun tit]]ular females do a majority of their serious conversations while relaxing in the baths.

* In ''Manga/WildRock'', the ''Child Rock'' chapter features [[DotingParent doting uncles]] Yuuen and Emba spending some quality bathing time [[OneMillionBC in the lake]] with baby Nava.

* Sento Isuzu of ''LightNovel/AmagiBrilliantPark'' has a furo scene in the opening, for not much except fanservice.
* ''LightNovel/BludgeoningAngelDokuroChan'' does pull off a [=Furo/=]{{Guro}} cross-over: The bath is so crowded that Sakura and the three angels get stuck. On her sister’s suggestion, Dokuro-chan then [[UnusualEuphemism makes Sakura very small]] with her club.

* ''LightNovel/FullMetalPanic'' has a very lengthy one involving Tessa, Kaname, and Mao. The twist is, what they're bathing in is actually a tank used for chemically cleaning mecha parts, but Tessa reveals [[MundaneUtility it is good for taking a hot bath too]] -- a reason to take advantage of her rank as submarine captain sometimes.

* In ''Fanfic/PokemonCrossingFlyMeToTheMoon'', Sable warms up a furo for the protagonists so she can sew up their torn clothes.
