* ''WesternAnimation/BoJackHorseman'': In season 5, [=BoJack=] is severely injured after performing his own stunt and is prescribed an opioid. For the most part, his DescentIntoAddiction is portrayed realistically, but the culmination of his drug abuse in episode 11, "The Showstopper", includes symptoms like [[spoiler:[[TheParanoiac paranoia]], psychosis in the form of getting LostInCharacter as Philbert, and [[AxCrazy homicidal rage]] that leads to him nearly [[SinisterSuffocation strangling Gina to death]]]]. All of these effects have much more in common with chronic stimulant abuse than opioid abuse. Even the NightmareSequence in this episode where Gina sings "Don't Stop Dancing" is more likely to occur because of stimulants, since having vivid, unpleasant dreams is a common symptom of [[https://withdrawal.net/amphetamine/symptoms-and-timeline/ amphetamine withdrawal]].

*** If you think the effects of salvia are not capable of inducing fear to the degree that it could be used as a weapon, you've obviously never smoked it. "Rapid onset" means just a few seconds, a minute at most. The reason it hasn't caught on as a party drug is that large doses (which are actually still very small) can cause the person to experience horrifying hallucinations.
