Dee! You're going to help me get a harem together, and in return, I'll defeat the Demon King and get you back to Heaven!
Based on a web-novel written by Yusura Kankitsu, starting in March of 2020, with the story officially ending in May of 2023, the setting involves the Goddess Aphrodite summoning a bunch of teens to the world she manages to deal with the coming resurrection of the local Demon King, which the gods are forbidden from directly interfering with, due to the local metaphysics. Among the summoned teens is one Kazehaya Souta who gets the profession [Monster Tamer], which would usually suck, but Souta is different. He also has a skill [Absolute Domination] which allows him to bypass most of the restrictions and allows him to capture and [Tame] just about any being with his magical ball, greatly surpassing any tamer known. The very first being he captures is Aphrodite herself, and thus begins his heroic journey to protect the world from the demon king, trying to pick up a harem of beauties for himself in the process.

Monster Breeding Tropes:

  • The Chosen Many: The situation on the world Aphrodite runs is so urgent that the goddess summons dozens of male teens to prepare for the fight with the demon king, and yes, he is that dangerous.
  • Compressed Adaptation: The manga skips over two of the most controversial arcs, the evil salamander arc and the mermaid city arc, and even skims through the "Souta goes to jail" mini-arc, which rushes the story to the final battle.
  • God's Hands Are Tied: Almost literally. The metaphysics of the new universe utterly prevents the gods from directly interfering with the fate of the world. Souta brings Aphrodite to the new world and her powers are so constrained that she loses a fight with, and needs to be rescued from, a goblin, the weakest of all creatures.
  • The Guards Must Be Crazy: Two very prominent cases.
    • When Souta's harem is trying to break him out of jail, after he was imprisoned unjustly, Roth, disguised as a guard, and Ciel, disguised as a prisoner, approach the guard station and ask for the key to cells. Subversion: The guard at the control station protests that he was not advised of the prisoner transfer and prepares to contact his superiors. Double subversion: Roth makes vague promises of giving the guard at the station sexual favors in return for the key, flashing her underwear, and gets the key. Triple subversion: The guard at the station sets off the alarm the instant Roth and Ciel are out of sight, making Roth, Ciel, Souta, and Kurou have to flee before the guards show up in force.
    • In the final arc, the Demon King finds himself woefully understaffed and has no choice but to recruit minions in a hurry, allowing Souta, disguised as Roth, and a few key haremettes, to smuggle themselves in. This is justified. But then, the demon king's top general, Rimmil, overconfident in her strength, goes into the common mess-hall to inspect the New Meat herself, sees the disguised via gender-bending transformation Souta, orders her into her own quarters for sexual shenanigans, which is a place "Roth" wasn't cleared for. Cue at least a week of scouting, sabotage, and coordination with the rest of the summoned Heroes that hadn't been captured yet for a full assault on the base.
  • Happiness in Slavery: Played with. Some of the ladies, like Aphrodite, are initially very unhappy to have been captured by Souta's magic ball, but after he dotes on them and pampers them like crazy for a while, grow to love it, some like Carol, the vampire maid, are perhaps a bit too happy to have been put in the ball.
  • Hero's Slave Harem: Of the Harem Seeker variety. Souta, in addition to capturing monsters, captures several lovely ladies to serve as his fighting strength. Some of them are happy to be captured, some are not.
  • Non-Indicative Name: The series is called "Monster Breeder" but Souta doesn't actually breed any monsters. At best, he creates new monsters by fusing two (or more) monsters together.
