I believe that Nathan and Rob have been purposefully kept in the closet against their will, and they have been trying to tell fans the truth for a very long time. Furthermore, I think that Rob is gay and Nathan is bisexual, and I have evidence to support both of these claims.

An Unauthorised Fan Treatise is a Web Serial Novel by Lauren James about a fictional blog by Margot "Gottie" Garcia. Gottie is a Fangirl for Loch & Ness, a paranormal detective Show Within a Show, and is writing to prove that two of its actors, Rob Hennings and Nathan O’Donnell, are in a Secret Relationship. As the blog updates its readers with meticulously-collected evidence proving this, her investigation into their private lives reveals darker secrets than just their romantic affairs.

Written in a format and style similar to fan blogs on Tumblr and Livejournal, as well as referencing other social media like Twitter and podcasts, An Unauthorised Fan Treatise is a murder mystery story about the craziness of fandom.

It is the basis for a book called Last Seen Online, currently set to be published in 2024.
