Large Ham / Interview with the Vampire (2022)

• Near the beginning of the pilot, Daniel plays the last cassette of the 1973 interview where Louis can be heard angrily shouting, "THIS, AFTER ALL I'VE TOLD YOU, IS WHAT YOU ASK FOR, BOY?!"
• Lestat (who is a Hollywood Atheist) is outraged that Louis is turning to religion for solace.
  Lestat: Do you think God heard you, Louis, in that tawdry BOX, THROUGH THIS PIG VESSEL, THIS— THIS CHARLATAN?! Do you not see how unworthy he is? HOW CAN YOU HUMILIATE YOURSELF LIKE THIS?!
• In the second episode, Louis blusters "YOU AIN'T FUCKIN' HEARIN' ME!" at Lestat when the latter attempts to prevent his newborn fledgling from the leaving his townhouse during the daytime.
• Lestat (a sadist who enjoys "playing with his food" before killing his victims) has an outburst after Louis objects to the former psychologically tormenting the tenor.
  Lestat: WELL, I DON'T SAY THAT YOU HAVE TO ENJOY IT! KILL THEM SWIFTLY IF YOU HAVE TO, BUT DO IT! EMBRACE WHAT YOU ARE! YOU ARE A KILLER, LOUIS!
• In the third episode, while in the presence of American soldiers who will soon be shipped off to France for World War I, Lestat hilariously adopts an exaggerated American accent when he exclaims, "All these murderous slobs want is more wine and a GERMAN ON THEIR BAYONETS! KILL THE HUNS!"
• After the soldiers depart, Lestat, who is extremely jealous over Louis hooking up with his Old Flame Jonah, then bellows with all the fury and heartache he can muster:
  Lestat: I HEARD YOUR HEARTS DANCING!!
  Louis: You watched the whole thing like some creeper!
  Lestat: AND THEN I WATCHED YOU PULL OVER AND DRAIN A DOG, AND RUN DOWN AN ALLEYWAY FOR TWO MORE RATS!! THIS IS NOT A LIFE!!
  Louis: THAT'S 'CAUSE YOU TOOK MY LIFE!
• In the fourth episode, Lestat can't sleep because of the scratching sound from Claudia's pen as she writes in her journal. He wants her to stop, but Louis defends her behaviour because it's a normal activity for a teenager. Lestat then yells in frustration, "PUTAIN DE MERDE! BONNE NUIT!" ^note "Fucking hell! Good night!"
• In the fifth episode, Claudia produces a Glass-Shattering Sound when she screeches, "SO WHAT?! GET OUT OF MY ROOM!!"
• A sex-starved Claudia shrieks at her two vampire fathers, "WHICH ONE OF YOU GONNA FUCK ME?!"
• Lestat, a Crazy Jealous Guy and a Jealous Parent, is royally pissed off that Louis would rather go with Claudia to Europe than stay with him: "A thousand nights of sulking, and the first sight of her, YOU ARE JUST GONNA UP AND LEAVE ME?!"
• Lestat is downright terrifying when he roars "I AM TRYING TO RESTRAIN MYSELF!!" while bashing Louis against the walls of their house like a rag doll.
• In the sixth episode, Lestat parodies the train conductor he has just murdered by hollering "TICKETS, PLEASE!" as he enters the baggage car.
• Lestat loses his temper when Claudia refuses to finish their chess match and launches into a Foreign-Language Tirade.
  Lestat: (hits the table) FINISH THE GAME!! [...] HEEDLESS, DISAGREEABLE, OBNOXIOUS, REPELLENT, UNKIND, SPOILED TO THE CORE!! COMME ENFANT, COMME ADULTE, COMME TOUJOURS, C'EST DE TA FAUTE, LOUIS!! C'EST LE RÉSULTAT DU COMPROMIS!! ^note "As a child, as an adult, as always, it's your fault, Louis! This is the result of compromise!"
• In the Season 1 finale, Louis barks out "NO! I SAID NO!" as he shoves Claudia against the armoire with his hand around her throat. It's his violent way of shutting her up because he doesn't want to hear her continued insistence that they have to burn Lestat's body.
