- How exactly is Lestat (and later Louis) so Vampires Are Rich when he has no knowledge of business, no apparent holdings, and was an Impoverished Patrician? Louis in the books even suspects that Lestat made him a vampire so he could have a luxurious lifestyle since he'd otherwise be poor.
- In the first book, Lestat says he supports himself by using his vampiric powers to win at card games, which we see in the pilot.
