Stereotypical depictions of Osakans (and to an extent people from the Kansai region) as Lower-Class Louts that are framed as the negative contrasts to people from Tokyo (and by extent the Kanto region) by being stupid, brash, materialistic, violent, alcoholic, gluttonous and/or enjoying comedy (or even viewing life as one).
