What's an Undertale Fan Game without its sweeter moments?

  • The fact Clover jumped in Mt. Ebott to find out what happened to the humans who fell in it and disappeared.
  • Toriel revealing that she checks the Ruins every day for anyone who might've fallen into the Underground.
  • Spare the Decibat by becoming quiet, and you'll see him sleeping peacefully a bit later.
  • Dalv and Clover's friendship should you spare him.
  • Checking a snowball at one point prompts Clover to note that it used to be part of a snowman full of life, but now it's full of potential for new life.
  • At this point, it's unknown what Flowey's motives are, but it's pretty cute how he keeps helping Clover through the game and how friendly and polite he is whether Clover chooses the Pacifist or Genocide Route.
    • Sadly, this is ultimately subverted as the Neutral and Genocide endings reveal he is the same sadistic flower he is in Undertale… although he does allow Clover to "rest" at the end of the True Pacifist route rather than undoing their actions and calls them his "friend" in his last dialogue to Clover, implying he may have some small shreds of good left in him.
  • In a moment that also crosses over with Tear Jerker, you can abort a Genocide run by apologizing to Martlet a few times during the Snowdin encounter. After the second apology, she angrily calls Clover out, before quickly calming down and remarking that there's not much else they can do. Apologize a third time, and she realizes Clover means it, and lets them go.
  • On Ava, Martlet will ask you to do a questionnaire about how you'd rate your first experience with the Royal Guard. Given that the other inhabitants have had... less than flattering opinions on her performance, and her visible struggle to make quality puzzles, it's rather sweet to see her light up with joy if you give her the highest ratings for her performance as a guard and for her puzzle design.
  • The Feisty Five knows how tiring a crimefighting job as theirs can be, so they all have a designated naptime.
  • Starlo's whole reason to being the sheriff of the Wild East is both heartwarming and a Tear Jerker. Not only did he form the town out of his love for Western human culture, but he also wants to entertain fellow Monsters, knowing they are all banished into the Underground.
  • When Clover travels with Ceroba throughout the Steamworks, there's a point where she gets uncharacteristically angry at her experiences there, only for Clover to grab hold of her hand, and hold it tightly to calm her down. Ceroba is understandably shocked by this, and although she doesn't make a remark about it, from her facial expression alone, and how she carries herself afterwards, it's very clear she appreciates and is touched by the gesture.
  • If Clover is on the Pacifist Route, their final conversation with Martlet on the rooftop has her complimenting who Clover is as an individual and the positive impact they've had on the monsters they've met, and that she's glad they boarded her raft and started their journey together with her. To really pull the heartstrings, the conversation ends with Clover and Martlet fist bumping. Note that this is the only time in the game Clover is actually shown smiling.
  • After her boss fight in the Pacifist Route, Ceroba admits, and truthfully states that her time with Clover momentarily allowed her to forget about all her troubles and regrets. Considering all the revelations about her that were discovered, Clover must've had an incredibly positive impact on Ceroba for her to say something like this.
    • This of course also ends up delving into tear-jerking territory during the Pacifist run, as Ceroba at this point has finally come to realize just how kind and pure-hearted Clover is, and had resolved to kill them to save her daughter Kanako, as she needed a pure SOUL to do it.
  • Across the game, monsters you spare and friends you make send Clover letters to confirm that they haven't forgotten about them. Even Slurpy, the kid whose tongue is stuck to a lamp post, sends you a letter if you free him.
  • If you enter Starlo's house, you can find a picture of him and Ceroba in their younger days, and the two look adorable together.
  • One of the NPCs in the Dunes is a monster at the playground who's feeling a bit lonely. Sit on the swing next to them, and they'll appreciate you spending some time with them, and hope you can be friends.
  • In a twisted sort of way, Clover letting Mo live while on a Genocide run is this. By the third encounter in the Steamworks, they've been so consumed by vengeance that they're killing everything that stands in their way. But instead of killing Mo, they elect to just rob him and let him go.
    • However, even if chosen to rob him, his gold would be Money for Nothing, because Clover cannot buy from anyone unless the Player aborts Genocide Route, which still is pointless, because they get locked into Neutral Route, where Flowey kills Clover and tries to take their SOUL, not to mention the things that you would have bought with stolen gold, would not be carried over into the fight.
  • Even though Ceroba's real reason for doing so is much less sweet, on a Neutral run, the reason she gives for not accompanying Clover through the Steamworks is that she has Starlo.
  • During the Guardener's battle, one of the little bots ends up showing late, and is dismayed when it learns that it missed the big attack. The Guardener not only is perfectly understanding, but she also gives it a flower to cheer it up.
  • On a Genocide Run, Axis does its best to protect the other robots, even taking a moment to reassure Guardener that it's safe if it stays hidden.
  • Flowey's monologue before his fight in the Neutral Run reveals that in every timeline in which Flowey doesn't interfere Clover ends up being adopted by Toriel.
  • If a player completes a Neutral Route enough times, Flowey reveals that Clover accepting Martlet's offer at the end of their journey is a forgone conclusion. No matter what Flowey says or does to convince Clover otherwise, how many monsters they kill in the run, or even if they abort Genocide at the last moment, it will always end with Martlet offering for Clover to live with her to keep them safe, while also helping them to live a better life, and Clover will always accept her offer to stay with her. Every. Single. Time.
  • As long as Clover doesn't go through with a Genocide Route, Martlet will always forgive their actions regardless of how many monsters they kill, how many lives they destroyed, and is adamant in seeing the good in them even if they don't see it themselves.
  • It's possible for Clover to kill every monster that they encounter in a Neutral Route, every monster, except for Martlet. Out of all the monsters that they can encounter, she is the sole monster that Clover cannot bring themselves to kill. Likewise Martlet is also the only monster, that will continue to believe in Clover's ability to change for the better, even when they're at their lowest point.
