• Mr. Bloom goes around to different nursing homes to offer the residents a choice: get a taste of their youth and a magical night, or stay young and get a new lease on life. No matter the choice that the residents make, they get special magic that restores their vitality.
• The Be Careful What You Wish For is downplayed. As the adults mill about and play, they realize that now they are kids, there is no one to take care of them and their families won't believe their true identities. Mrs. Dempsey makes the choice when she realizes that her wedding ring is gone; since she's a kid now, she never got married to her beloved husband. When Conroy points out she can still do great things as a growing child, Mrs. Dempsey shakes her head. She would rather have the aches and pains because they come with joyful memories.
• After old man Conroy discovers that Mr. Bloom's youth magic was Real After All, we see him joyfully kicking the can outside while Mr. Bloom turns to the audience and assures us that "He'll get it!"
  Mr. Bloom: (singing) Why you sittin' around mopin', sittin' around mopin'? Just listen to me, I'm sure you'll agree: age means nothin' to me...!
• "It's a Good Life"
  • Helen apologizes to Anthony when she accidentally hits him with her car after defending him at a bar, making sure that he's not hurt and wiping the road dirt off him. She asks him if he's okay and offers him a ride home, with the broken bike. As Anthony puts it, he may have had a bad birthday but he made a new friend.
  • In a twisted sense, Anthony's "family" rummages through Helen's purse...to write a note begging for help and warning her that Anthony is not what he seems. They can't express dismay or dislike in front of Anthony, but they wanted to warn a newcomer taken in by his innocent facade.
  • Anthony in this version expresses frustration, more Obliviously Evil than bratty, asking why no one wants to stay with him after he reveals his true self. Helen uses this to realize that Anthony isn't evil, just very lonely with a lot of Power Incontinence. She reassures Anthony that she's not afraid of him and that she will be his friend and teacher, through thick and thin.
  • The end of the segment is somewhat heartwarming, in that Helen finally offers Anthony a form of guidance and support that he was never able to get from his family. Granted, one can't help but feel for that family, given how much Anthony punished them, but there's the chance that the influence of an adult could help rectify any future problems Anthony might have with people.
