  • Though it's more of a Heartwarming Moment for The Temptations, but considering the Stones were also involved, whatever: both groups were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989, and they (along with fellow inductee Stevie Wonder and previous inductee Little Richard) all sang "My Girl."
  • Speaking of which, their pushing for Ian Stewart to be inducted posthumously, showing how much they truly respected him.
  • The announcement in May 2019, that Jagger/Richards were returning their share of the royalties and creative rights to The Verve for their Breakaway Pop Hit "Bitter Sweet Symphony", which was subject to a famous lawsuit over alleged plagiarism.
