Heartwarming / The Hunt (2012)

• One of the few people who never questions Lucas' innocence is his son Marcus. After first being told by the police of the accusations against his father, Marcus calls him crying, but more out shock and confusion than doubt in his father. After Lucas assures him that the accusations aren't true and not to believe them, Marcus stands by him one hundred percent. Lucas only sends him away for his own safety.
• Bruun, Lucas' friend and Marcus' godfather, and his family also believe Lucas is innocent whole heartedly. Bruun comes by to check on Lucas after the accusations and takes Marcus in when Lucas is arrested. While Marcus stays with them, Bruun and his in-laws get excited when Bruun mentions the judge might toss the case due to the children's accusations being Blatant Lies (they claimed Lucas did it to them in his basement when Lucas doesn't have one).
• After Lucas is released, the first thing he does is give Marcus a big hug.
• After Theo realizes that he was wrong, and that Lucas is innocent, he goes over to Lucas' house with food and booze to make amends.
• While it is marred by the final two minutes, after the Time Skip we see that Lucas has gotten back some of what he lost. He still gets to see Marcus, he and Theo are best friends again, many of Lucas' other friends have made up with him as well, his name has been cleared enough that he is allowed to go on the town's annual hunt, and while Klara is still visibly ashamed of what she did to Lucas, he has forgiven her and even gets her to smile.
