  • The part when Jack offers to teach Cinderella to shoot, followed by saying that he understands why she waited to escape from her stepmother’s house. She’s completely speechless.
  • At the end, Jack saying that he doesn’t think he’d truly ever be able to forget the lady with the glass slippers, even if he really wanted.
  • Ariel, who had previously only been antagonistic toward her, telling Cinderella that she “did good” during the train fight with the dinosaurs.
  • When Cinderella asks why Jack came back for her, despite having a head-start to get away from the Villains and being shot for his troubles, Jack replies, “This place has a way of reshuffling one’s priorities.” From someone who’d been so hell-bent on escaping death at all costs, this is huge.
  • The flashback to Disneyland’s opening day and the characters meeting Walt for the first time. Seeing everybody, especially Cinderella, so new and full of hope veers into Tear Jerker territory when you remember the state they’re in now.
  • Jack tells Cinderella that, if he ever got the Black Pearl back, he wouldn’t leave her behind to be trapped in the park. Despite acknowledging that there’s no way to tell if he’s lying or not, she’s touched nevertheless. It’s revealed in a one-shot set six years later that she does go with him when he ultimately gets the Pearl because of a loophole caused by Fantasmic!.
