The Girl I Want is So Handsome! has its share of sweet moments involving the cast.

• Despite their limited panel time, Waka and Nonon are rather supportive of Hina's relationship with Shiki. After the three of them meet up with Shiki on a day off, they let Shiki and Hina go out together. Within an hour of hearing about Shiki and Hina becoming a couple, the two get a cake and come over to Hina's house to congratulate her and hear all the details.
• One of the subplots- Rei and Hina becoming friends- has quite a few moments like this.
  • While Hina understandably finds Rei scary at first, once she realizes that Rei has good reasons for being strict- she doesn't want her teammates to hurt themselves- she defends Rei when some of their teammates badmouth her.
  • While Rei only lets a handful of people (particularly her girlfriend Hanna) call her by her first name, she's willing to let Hina, who would be obligated to respect her as an upperclassman, call her "Meowmoto-senpai."
  • Rei is the one who helps Hina find the courage to face Shiki after Shiki kisses Hina, allowing Shiki to give a Love Confession.
  • On a more humorous note, despite being weirded out by Hina's request to get a picture of Shiki in class, Rei complies after she sees a cute face.
• Shiki, after coming to terms with her feelings for Hina, Shiki makes a Love Confession
  Hina: Is it okay for me to hope for more?!
  Shiki: (kisses and hugs Hina) When I say I like you. I mean it like this. Hina. Go out with me
  Hina: I will!
  Hina narrating: Swept up in that gentle May breeze, I became the girlfriend of the senpai I yearned for.
• When Rei comes over, soaking wet and upset, Shiki lets her stay over no questions asked, evidently used to doing that for her.
• When Shiki asks Hina about how strange she's been acting, and whether she dislikes being kissed, Hina replies that there's no way she coul hate the person she likes doing that to her, then kisses Shiki and tells her that she loves her.
• Rei and Hanna make up off panel, with Rei explaining that she was mainly angry that Hanna hadn't talked to her first, and that "Being apart from a year is nothing." Hina notices how much Rei loves Hanna.
