Season 1
- In "The Problem Is Me," when each of the contestants arrive at the lab for a task. Paul immediately exits the room, claiming to have forgotten a different item. The task envelope is lying on a bed of leaves on the table, and the contestants had to leave the room quickest, with their time starting when Paul leaves the room. Angella immediately left the room because she was concerned for Paul, unwittingly completing the task at hand in 7 seconds.
- In one task where contestants have to reach a points threshold, the first team quickly figures out that they gain points by complimenting each other and win quickly. The second team, Leigh and Angella, never cotton on and continue attempting the various other tasks laid out (e.g. netting a basketball) but make the point threshold anyway because they genuinely compliment and encourage each other during their efforts.
Season 2
- In the Christmas song task in "Unbung" Matt is given one point because while his song was legitmately good, he used one of the banned words. Urzila offers to swap positions with Matt, giving Matt two points and Urzila one point. He immediately gives her a hug in response.
- In "Eat Your Asses", David is extremely apologetic for the harsh lyrics in the diss track he, Guy, and Laura rapped against Matt and Urzila, saying he went so far as to try and get the task cut from the season entirely. To try and make up for it, he presents Matt and Urzila with meat platters, which they graciously accept with hugs.
- The Season 2 panel got on so well that they've continued making public appearances together as "The Five Friends" often with Paul tagging along.
Season 4
- Karen's wedding in "Your Hand Can Do A Better Job" is noted by Jeremy as being incredibly sweet. She decides to marry her partner, Eilish through a video call, writes a brief song and has a wide smile on her face the entire time.
