• In his Reddit Cumbox video of all things. In the video, one of the top comments on the "darkest secret" r/AskReddit post was a man who was very untrusting of women and was unable to get into a relationship because of this distrust because he was tricked into thinking he had a girlfriend in 8th grade, when in reality the girl and his other classmates had set him up to be bullied relentlessly over it. A year later, he edited the comment to let everyone know that he finally found (and fell in love with) a woman he could trust, and who helped him to trust others.
• On a similarly weird level, the video about the Sally Acorn sex doll with a lifelike skeleton inside. It turns out the skeleton wasn't real, and the reason the guy made it was to make the doll as lifelike as possible, hand carving the bones from wood to make sure the limbs were proportioned as close to that of a human(oid) being as he could. Whang goes into further detail and notes how impressed he is with the man's dedication to his craft, and indeed, the details he reads off (whilst still keeping things monetizable of course) show how much genuine artistic passion went into the whole thing.
• The coverage on the story of Grape-kun, a penguin from Japan who fell in love with a cutout of an anime character from Kemono Friends. It feels silly at first, but after learning more about it, it becomes both this and a Tear Jerker.
• The story of Panchiko's D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L: a teenage garage band in Britain makes 30 copies of their home recorded demo CD, splits up a year later after failing to get signed, and they all go their separate ways, the band long forgotten about. 15 years later a 4chan user finds a damaged copy in a thrift shop and goes in search for information and a copy that plays properly, leading to renewed interest in the album, and eventually the band gets back together to play their first show in 20 years, tours the U.S., and finally makes a proper studio album.
