- The reconciliation scene in "Legends" where Adam and Grady make up after a fiery confrontation moments earlier, and after Adam reveals to Grady the lengths he went to, to find the younger man in Vietnam.Grady: I was 10. I used to carry your picture around with me and tell people you were—you were my father.Adam: Yeah, for some reason, I doubt if anybody believed that one.Grady: Yeah, nobody did. And me, you know, I wanted to believe it, I really did. But the more time passed and you didn't come for me, the less I believed it, and the less I believed...the less I cared.Adam: I came back for you, Grady, God knows I tried to find you, but I couldn't find you! Now I know why.Grady: You know, I'd like to start showing around that picture again. Maybe this time I'll tell everyone you're my brother.Adam: (scoffs) Yeah, I doubt if anyone's gonna believe that one either.Grady: How about I just say...my best friend?Adam: ...best friend...best friend's good.
- And all this is capped by Grady taking a few faltering steps forward and catching Adam in a huge embrace, holding him like how a child would hold a long-lost parent. Both heartwarming and heart-breaking at the same time.
