• "Tables Turned" provides a particularly creepy example of a Stalker with a Crush, in this case a man with a history of raping women, who's now stalking his former attorney after she got him acquitted of his latest rape charge. He shows up unannounced at her apartment building several times, accosts her at court under the pretext of wanting her as his lawyer again (which she naturally refuses, being rather creeped out by him at this point), and what makes it even worse is that, technically, he hasn't broken any laws by being in contact with her in this way, so Adam can't lift a finger against the guy despite well knowing how much of a sicko he is. And then there's a scene where, after unlocking her apartment door and stepping inside, the lawyer is surprised and restrained by the rapist, who was waiting for her inside the apartment, and she gets blindfolded, gagged, and her hands bound behind her even as she's struggling against him. Luckily, the rapist doesn't do anything else to her, only tauntingly whispering in her ear, "Not yet, Victoria...not yet," implying that he can come back and finish what he started anytime he wants. It's the sort of thing that a woman would particularly fear, whether the stalker/attacker in question is a stranger or someone they know.
