Heartwarming / Strays (2023)

• Despite how severely she was bitten by Bug, Emma is nonetheless devastated that her best friend is going to be put down. Really shows the love a human child has for their dog.
• The friendship between Reggie, Bug, Hunter, and Maggie in general is very sweet, supportive, and genuine.
• Despite his expressed negative feelings towards humans, when Bug finds lost girl scout Riley after he's broken away from the rest of the pack, he's ultimately unable to just leave her on her own, and stays with her to offer comfort.
• Bug, Maggie, and Hunter all race to save Reggie from Doug with Hunter even shedding his cone so he can fight Doug.
• The "epilogue" shows that Bug has been taken in by Riley's family and Reggie occasionally visits Bug's new home, with Riley's younger brother shown as being very affectionate towards Reggie and calling him "Good boy" just as Reggie always wanted to hear from Doug.
• Also in the epilogue, Reggie has taken over showing new strays the ropes, however he's changed the final and most important rule to You Are Not Alone.
