A lot of these characters go through the wringer, and while some of them don't deserve a happily ever after, almost all of them have the potential to gain it. Let's look at some of them.

VICTORY MOVIES
- Wade Vox: Things are finally looking up for him. After losing his home, his family, his freedom, and almost his life, he beats the odds and has become his own man again. Not only that, but he has gained a real purpose in life; to train as a Jedi and become more than the slick smuggler he originally set out to be. Today, life is good.
- Quagga: His big gamble pays off, and he can finally start his new life in Mos Eisley with relative safety and security. Not only that, but he also seems to have started on what looks to be an amicable arrangement with the Jawas who tried to put him out of business in the first place by selling them the AAT he used in the tournament. It's not like he actually needs it anymore.
- General Otto: Sure, he's a cowardly, self-serving Imperial deserter, but you can't help but feel happy for the guy when he shows off his new luxury apartment.
- Tia and Ghia: Leia deserves a special shout-out here. These girls, for all intents and purposes, abandoned the Rebellion over a girl crush on her boyfriend. Any die-hard member of the Rebellion would have been more than justified in their eyes to say "here's your bed, now lie in it." She also could have been petty and just left them and got who she came for. Instead, she risked her own mission to rescue the man she loved to save them from a fate worse than death, and moreover she convinced the Rebellion to help rescue the two, who were low ranking pilots with little strategic value beyond their skills. These two will more than likely be grateful to her for the rest of their lives.
- Tamtel Skreej: Not only do we get to see Lando put himself out there for Han, but also for Leia. While she keeps Jabba distracted, he preps the carbon block for defrosting later that night. He knows Leia's straying from the plan, but he also knows how much this means to her.
- Pugwis: Pugwis barrels into town right into the heart of a crowd of screaming, adoring fans. This is all he's ever wanted, and he's going to enjoy every second of it.
MISC
- Tia and Ghia's victory line, Remember Alderaan. The Galaxy remembers, and the Rebellion won't let its destruction go unpunished.
