Heartwarming / Snaiad

• Humanity's relationship with the biosphere of Snaiad could count. The population of the settlers are only a few million to avoid straining the planet's resources, the local wildlife are managed sustainably, and in general there's a feel of humanity having learned from its mistakes on Earth and trying to start anew on a different planet.
• The Mikados' courtship ritual consists of an amusing round of stick-flipping, with both partners tossing around branches and twigs with their extended lower jaws. It's surprisingly adorable.
• The Moai Blumbomen carry their babies around in their throat pouches in the most endearing way imaginable, as much as something that looks like an upright cross between a blobfish and an elephant seal can be considered endearing.
• During the infamous Arbophobe Wars, certain local species of pescidonts fended off the hungry Fuckers from near human settlements. This has caused the locals to greatly come to like the docile Pescidonts, even putting out food for them and treating them almost as pets.
• It's mentioned in passing that the Crochydron is an Endangered Species (though it seems to have been naturally rare before humans got to Snaiad). However, humans have been managing a captive breeding program to help save the species, showing how much mankind has come to care about their new alien planet-mates.
