Kosemen's raunchy sense of humor pops up from time to time:
- Let's be honest: a lot of the Snaiadi creatures look downright phallic.
- Male Blumbomen are attracted to humans, being upright bipeds, and often attempt to court them by flashing their brightly-colored genitals. This has gotten to the point that the local language now figuratively compares perverts and sex maniacs with the Blumbomen!
- Flipdicks, a small relative of the fearsome Fuckers whose crotch-spike is absurdly long, longer than the rest of its body. Scientists are perplexed about what purpose it serves: in fact, experiments have shown that removing the long spikes actually made them better at hunting.
- The one species of Fucker that wrestles its prey onto its back to hump-stab its underbelly is known as the Missionary, because of course people would name it that.
- There's a degree of Squick centered humor around the venomous Haplobrachids, in which only the males are venomous because their venom is actually semen. Yep.
- Seeing human culture's adoption of the alien animals in their language is also quite amusing, such as comparing attractive dark-skinned women to certain kahydront species or referring to annoying and irritating people as picotheres.
- Also, the fact that the Blumbomen are generally regarded as "adorable" and are well known in Snaiadi popular culture. Makes one wonder if they have plush toys or cartoon characters based on them.
- Cynophis giganteus is an alien equivalent to the drop-bear cryptid on Earth, an arboreal predator known to occasionally hunt by dropping down from the trees onto prey. Kosemen takes the opportunity to poke fun at the myth, pointing out that an animal evolved to be arboreal deliberately putting itself on the ground is a big risk, and highlighting it with a story of a drop-snake accidentally breaking its own back!
