- When Dahl becomes so endeared to the sweet and kind Luna, she pats him on the back after he praised The Lord and tells him with a warm smile "Wrong profession, kid."
- Later when one of Luna's superiors screams at him again, Captain Johns angrily comes to his defence and shouts "Hey, leave the kid alone!"
- Boss Johns returning to rescue Riddick after seemingly leaving him to his fate (unlike his son) certainly counts.
- Any of Riddick's moments with his pet dog, including a Badass and Puppy moment when he rescues it from the big scorpion monster.
