- Julie and Ricki bonding after their trip to the beauty salon, especially when Ricki performs her original song "Cold One". Julie is relaxing for the first time in the film, showing that she actually has benefited from seeing her mother again.
- At the wedding, Julie is one of the bridesmaids. She is clearly terrified at the thought of walking down the aisle in front of everyone and panics. Ricki is right there beside her and urges her to go through with it. And Julie does, with her head held high.
- All of Ricki's children getting up on stage to sing "Let's Stick Together" with her at the end.
