  • Chief Benja and young Raya spending time together as he trains her to guard the dragon gem. Sweeter still, she passes, and is made an honorary guardian of the dragon gem, if one who still has to answer to her father. The audience gets to see the land of Heart in its heydays, a beautiful home filled with bounty, prosperity, and gorgeous natural settings. It's a nice calm in the storm before "the world became so broken".
  • "Don't give up on [the other tribes], Raya!" Chief Benja tells Raya this before the Druun turn him to stone. Bear in mind that just minutes ago, the other tribes had just betrayed him and his daughter, shot him in the leg, broke the Dragon Gem, brought back the Druun, stole the shards, and abandoned his people to the monsters' mercy. And yet, he still hopes in the goodness of the other tribes, and better still, understands they are more than their baser instincts. Now that's what they call a Big Good!
  • Sisu's enthusiasm for each time a piece of the Dragon Gem gives her powers. To her, it's not just a power-up, it's the only memento of her brothers and sisters.
  • Despite getting on Raya's bad side by conning and robbing her blind, her heart softens towards Noi when she learns from the ongis that the little girl lost her family to Druuns. They become nearly instant allies when they team up to get Talon's shard of the dragon gem.
    • Also, Noi taking an instant shine to Sisu when they meet.
  • While Boun is getting overwhelmed by Noi and the Ongis, Raya tricks them with a game of Hide and No Seek and the two share an understanding smile. Despite spending six years alone with Tuk Tuk, Raya's surprisingly good with kids.
  • Despite her experience of being betrayed and having her life threatened by the (current) Chief of Talon, Sisu doesn't lose her sense of trust so easily. Instead of discouraging her from trusting people at all, it works to motivate to help fix the world so people can have a reason to be trusting once more.
  • When Sisu confronts Namaari as a dragon, for an instant, there's empathy in the dragon's eyes as she looks upon this tearful woman who's never seen a dragon before.
  • Chieftess Virana's relationship with Namaari is quite touching. Virana genuinely loves her daughter, is afraid of what might happen if Namaari faces Raya alone, and is reluctant to send her on a suicide mission without backup. Basically, Namaari is what Princess Azula might have been if she had been raised by a pragmatic but truly nurturing and loving parent instead of Fire Lord Ozai.
  • Tong and Noi bonding together, especially since one lost his family and the other lost her parents. He even bothers to learn her name when he finds it sown on the back of her collar when no one else did.
  • While riding to retrieve the last piece of the Dragon Gem from Fang, a couple of Raya's allies reflect on what they're going to do when they return to their restored families. Tong can hardly wait to see the familiar sight of his wife and child, while Boun reminizes over his older sister and how she used to pat his head. Although it borders on Tear Jerker, there's light at the end of the tunnel that for the first time in six years, they have legitimate hope they'll see their loved ones once more.
  • Raya having her dragon pendant sent to Namaari as a peace offering, in order to get the last dragon shard. When they meet again, Raya off-handedly remarks that she's kept the pendant in good condition all these years. If that's any indication, this tells the audience that Raya never took her bitterness towards Namaari out on the pendant, and instead cherished it.
  • Boun and the rest of Raya's friends deciding to help the people of Fang escape the Druuns, despite the world blaming and despising Fang for this whole mess. This shows how big their hearts are to help evacuate these people, especially when you take into account they weren't directly at fault for any of this.
  • "Then let me take the first step." Raya saying this isn't just a climatic end to her character arc, but a moving indication she's ready to forgive Namaari after six long years.
    • Fridge-Heartwarming: the others following suit parallels how Sisu's siblings trusted her with the Dragon Gem despite being the weakest of them. The others trusted Namaari to save them, despite the reputation she and her people garnered. She may have been too scared by the situation to notice, but considering she's a dragon nerd, it's sweet to see she got to follow in Sisu's footsteps.
    • More Fridge-Heartwarming: Raya giving Namaari her shard isn't just about the movie breaking from the formula of the protagonist saving the day. She did it knowing that the only way they would follow suit is by being the first to trust Namaari. And it works because the rest of the group trusts her that much. Shows how closely knit the group has become to follow Raya's lead like that. That aside, they also do it because they don't want Raya's Heroic Sacrifice to be in vain.
  • While partly a tearjerker, Namaari deciding to accept everyone's trust in her and putting together the dragon gem in the climax. Even when it doesn't initially work, she decides it's better to stay by their side than run away. Despite their animosity towards one another, Namaari even puts her hand on Raya's shoulder, in a way reciprocating Raya's earlier attempts of mending their friendship.
    • When the gem does work, Raya and Namaari are the first to wake up from being turned to stone. Relieved that it had worked, Raya and Namaari share a heartfelt look while Raya clutches Namaari's hand on her shoulder.
  • In a blink and you'll miss it moment, as Raya and the others were climbing out of the hole they fell in earlier, Raya is seen helping Namaari out of the hole. It's quite nice to see the two being friendly with each other after being at odds the whole movie.
  • It's pretty heartwarming to see Namaari being included in the big group hug when Sisu returns. Bonus points is that it's clear that she's feeling remorseful and is crying, but Sisu being The Heart that she is, seemed to have forgiven her.
  • Everyone reuniting with all their loved ones. Namaari regains her mother as quickly as she lost her, little Noi finds her momma, Boun reunites with his parents and siblings, Tong returns to his wife and child and collective people. And best of all, although he's a little saddened he missed six years of his daughter's life, Chief Benja is just happy to see his daughter Raya again.
    • Heck, the Dragons are even restored from their stony state and in turn, revive Sisu. She's clearly overjoyed to see her people (her beloved brothers and sisters chief among them) are alive and thriving once more.
    • Earlier, Raya was worried that if he was restored from stone, her father Chief Benja wouldn't recognize her for the 18-year-old cynic she's become. When he sees her, he almost instantly identifies her as "dewdrop", showing he still recognizes his beloved daughter after six years. Even if she's not the same as before, he can see she changed for the better.
  • Fridge-Heartwarming: Chief Benja was turned to stone on the night he was trying to unite the five lands. Six years later, he awoke getting exactly when he sought after that very night: the five lands reunited into Kumandra. And the cherry on top: Chief Benja also had the honor of the legendary Sisu telling him in person how his daughter's trust did the world good and united the five tribes.
    Raya: Welcome to Kumandra.
