Season 1
Episode 2: Into The Black
- Returning to Atlas Destroyer with a power cell and Boy with them, Hayley discovers the power cell got cracked on the way back and throws it in frustration. Taylor expresses hope that they'll eventually find a replacement, and the two share an embrace, remarking that they wouldn't have gotten through this experience, and the last five years, without each other.
Episode 4: Up and Running
- When Shane chews Mei out for losing one of Atlas Destroyer's arms fighting Copperhead, Taylor steps up and takes the blame. Mei — who had been nothing but aloof and disdainful towards him and Hayley — is visibly surprised by this.
Episode 6: Boneyard
- Apex drifting with the Boy and our heroes. Once it sees they care about him just as much as it does it presents Atlas Destroyer with a new arm so they can protect Boy.
- When an inactive Atlas Destroyer falls into an opening rift, Hayley and Taylor refuse to abandon it and Loa. They jump into the abyss after it to get on board and save the Jaeger. This stands in sharp contrast to Atlas and Loa being left behind as useless during the evacuation.
Episode 7: Showdown
- As Taylor converses with Loa in the Drift to see what went wrong with her, Hayley interrupts his session to get him to see what Boy is doing. When he approaches him, we see Boy is doodling on the floor of the Conn-Pod, of him and a cityscape. Both Taylor and Hayley can't help but find it endearing.
- Though unwelcoming of the trio at first, Mei offers Taylor, Hayley, and Boy hot chocolate after seeing Boy wave at her with a smile before they walk out the door.
- Boy gets some moments in the café:
- Upon hearing the ringing bell above the entrance, Boy makes a beeline straight to it, staring at it in awe and amazement.
- Trying hot chocolate for the first time makes Boy ecstatic, before making a playful grab at Hayley's cup, clearly enjoying the beverage.
- When Boy turns the café's jukebox on, Hayley makes a dash towards it to shut it off, worried it might grab attention, but Taylor tells her to let it play, allowing Boy to experience music and dancing for the first time.
- Mei joining in dancing with the siblings and Boy, and genuinely enjoying herself while doing so.
