Season 1

    Episode 1: From The Shadows
  • This exchange between Hayley and Loa after the former accidentally discovers the Shadow Basin base, and Atlas Destroyer:
Loa: Why did you enter this facility through the roof?
    Hayley: Shortcut!
Loa: And why did you not use the ladder?
    Hayley: ... shorter cut?
  • It quickly becomes apparent that Loa does not want to put up with any of Hayley's shit.
Loa: Walk cycle will commence once your copilot arrives.
Hayley: But... this is just training. Can't you be my copilot?
    Loa: [completely flat] No.
  • Loa decides to put Hayley through the Jaeger Training program, consisting of over thirty tutorial holograms... which the latter immediately decides to skip through. This comes back to bite her in the ass when Copperhead attacks the village.
Hayley: I've never drifted! What do I do!?
Loa: That was covered in Lesson Two.
  • Turns out Taylor's claims of acing Jaeger training only amounted to the written test.
  • To combat Copperhead, Taylor tries to fire all of Atlas Destroyer's weapons. The holographic HUD shows the missiles firing and impacting the target.
    Loa: Fatal strike...
    Taylor: Yes!
Loa: ...is what I would say if those were actual weapons.
    Taylor: What!?
Loa: This is a training Jaeger. No weapons.

    Episode 2: Into The Black
  • While Hayley is struggling through the Drift, Atlas Destroyer ends up running out of energy, resulting in the Jaeger collapsing. Apparently, no one got Loa's warning.
    Taylor: Loa, what happened?
Loa: Power cells are at 3%, which is—
Taylor: A little warning would have been nice!
Loa: A warning was indeed issued. To avoid any confusion in the future, when you hear me say "Warning", consider yourselves warned.
  • Taylor admits that he's not sure what's right or smart anymore, let alone brotherly. Loa informs him that if he is seeking advice, she's the wrong person to go to, as family counseling is not a programmable skill set.
  • Loa appears to not understand sarcasm in the slightest. In need of power cells, when Taylor sarcastically snarks that he'll head to the power cell store to get new ones, Loa tells him power cell stores do not exist.
    • Upon learning the PPDC Recruitment Center in Meridian is still standing, Loa attempts to help Taylor on his way:
Loa: Allow me to give you directions.
Taylor: No need. Been there before.
Loa: But Meridian lies in ruins. You must follow certain landmarks in order to—
*The doors close on Loa before she finishes*
Loa: ...I am speaking to myself.

    Episode 3: Bogan
  • Unsure of what to do with the Boy when Taylor spots people in vehicles nearby, he suggests to Hayley that leaving him in Atlas Destroyer might be the best decision. Loa advises against it, as babysitting is also not a programmable skill set.
  • As the Boy chases after a butterfly, Taylor calls out to him, calling him "Boy". Hayley protests this name, but Taylor shoots her down... plus, he thinks "Boy" suits him. Bonus points for "Boy" eating the butterfly after catching it.
Taylor: Hayley, I'm not calling him George or Barnaby or Chad or whatever little brother name you've loved since you were four. "Boy" kinda suits him.

    Episode 4: Up and Running
  • Suffering from his Mind Rape at the hands of Shane, Mei hands Taylor a liquid for him to drink. Questioning what the drink is, Mei tells him it's Kaiju milk, causing him to gag.
    • Turns out, it's not even milk, but it is still from a Kaiju.

    Episode 7: Showdown
  • While testing out the new arm they got from Apex, Taylor clearly is having a hard time aiming it towards a pile of rocks. After an... unimpressive attempt at knocking them down, Hayley gets a little smug.
    Hayley: Ooooh.
    Taylor: Don't say it.
Hayley: What? Just maybe... I dunno, aim more to the right?
    • Taylor decides to ask Loa and Boy for any pointers. Loa tells him to hurry up and improve, and Boy simply splays out his arm, mimicking Taylor.
  • Entering Clayton City, Atlas Destroyer ends up on the receiving end of sniper fire, thanks to Mei. As Taylor confronts her about it, Mei tells them to direct their attention at her "subtle" message - large words spelling "GO AWAY", spray-painted on the side of a building.
  • Boy ends up loving Mei's hot chocolate. While Taylor and Hayley are reminiscing over it, Boy simply chugs it down, complete with a hot chocolate mustache, before attempting to make a playful grab at Hayley's cup.
  • When Boy discovers the jukebox and accidentally turns it on, Hayley and Boy begin dancing to the music. Though refusing at first, Taylor gets egged on by Mei, wondering if he's worried that he might scare the kid.
    • Even Mei gets in on the fun, after being pulled in by Hayley. Though facepalming at first, she eventually gives in with moves of her own.
  • Copperhead finds Atlas Destroyer abandoned, as Taylor and Hayley are off investigating the Jaeger distress signal they picked up. It's a tense moment, the kaiju seeming to realize its nemesis is helpless and it will never have a better opportunity to destroy the machine. It gallops all-out, prepared to take it apart in a vicious fashion. In the conn pod, Loa detects the incoming monster.
