Heartwarming / Of Elder Scrolls and Huntsmen: Dragon Rose

• Team RWBY is left reeling upon the discovery that they're on an entirely new world, with Weiss in particular taking it pretty hard. Ruby immediately embraces her, assuring Weiss that she's with her, confidently asserts that they'll find a way back home, and immediately begins to start planning their next steps.

  Ruby: It's a leader's job to make sure the team's okay, and a good friend's job to make sure her bestie is happy.

• The sheer concern Ruby, Blake, and Yang have towards Weiss after she's attacked by a vampire is quite touching. Their concern for her skyrockets when the illness she contracted (which unbeknownst to them is Sanguinare Vampiris and is turning Weiss into a vampire) worsens. When she experiences what the three think is a seizure or heart attack at night (which is actually Weiss dying and becoming a vampire) they build a sledge over night and restrict her to it when practical. Ruby in particular spends any available moment keeping an eye on her.
• When Yang returns from her harrowing experience in Embershard Mine having accidentally killed three people, Ruby immediately knows something is wrong the second she lays eyes on her sister.
• Despite watching Weiss horrifically kill a man by drinking all of his blood, Ruby needs only seconds to begin trying to comfort the horrified and hysterical girl, who naturally didn't want to do what she just did. Yang and Blake are quick to follow Ruby's example and the scene closes on a group hug for the tearful and frightened Weiss.
• As they are processing Weiss' vampirism, Ruby resolutely declares they'll find a cure, reasoning that the book Diseases and Treatments said there was no known reliable cure, not that there wasn't a cure. Blake also tries to comfort Weiss by pointing out the book is fairly old and what it says about there being no known reliable cure may be out-of-date. Weiss starts tearing up in the face of their optimism and belief.
  • They also take turns providing blood for her.
• At the end of a tough day of finding out Weiss is a vampire and fighting draugr, Ruby for the first time shows some doubt about whether they will get back home. Weiss takes the role of comforter as Ruby comforted her.

  Weiss: I promise you that we will get back home. It may not be today, it may not be tomorrow, it may not even be a year, but we will go home.

• The outcome of Clavicus' Vile quest, where no one gets screwed over by the Jackass Genie. Ruby befriending the vampires at Haemar's Shame and tell them to go to Duskfall Haven.
  • Ruby using her wish from Clavicus Vile to create a... corgi. Everyone, including the vampires in the cavern, squee at the sight.
• At the conclusion of the White Phial questline, Weiss, delivering the now repaired White Phial and is about to give it to Nurelion, notices that he has only moments before expiring from his sickness, she then uses her semblance to give Nurelion some medicine to buy him more time to experience his life's work.
• Blake looking after M’rissi.
• Blake reuniting with Yang when she was imprisoned and freed from Cidhna Mine.
• Red Eagle shows no ill will for killing him again, even encouraging her to eat his Briarheart and become King of the Reach.
• Capric casually revealing that he has children of his own.
• Ruby Shouting a dragon suffering from Go Mad from the Isolation back to sanity.
