Heartwarming / Never Wipe Tears Without Gloves

• Benjamin's summation of Rasmus's illness is tragic and heartbreaking but there are a few lines in there that warms the heart as well.
• Holger calling Benjamin after both of Rasmus's parents have died so that Benjamin can come and say his goodbyes to the love of his life. Especially heartwarming since Holger never even met Benjamin until he came to Koppom to visit the grave.
• Rasmus keeps wanting Benjamin to come out as gay to his parents and stand up for their relationship but Benjamin keeps refusing. They have a pretty bad fight about it and Benjamin leaves. When Benjamin comes back, Rasmus has just found out he has HIV. Rasmus, in tears, begs Benjamin not to go. Benjamin leaves... and goes straight to his parents to tell them he is gay and in a loving relationship.
• The short speech Crown Princess Victoria gave when she handed out the award Homo of the Year to Jonas Gardell.
  Crown Princess Victoria: Few, very few, have moved us and made us as touched as you. Your message is clear: Straighten your back. Reach out your hand. We shall wipe each other's tears. We shall wipe each other's tears with open hearts and with our bare hands!
  • Her entire appearance at the gala. She gets a several minutes long standing ovation and is visibly touched. Also just seeing a future queen hand out an award like that, hold the recipient's hand and even give a slight bow to him shows how far some countries have come in the past thirty years. This would have been unthinkable in Sweden in the eighties when the show is set. She also doesn't bat an eye when he addresses her as "Victoria" and not "Your Royal Highness" or "Crown Princess".
• There's something really touching about seeing Paul cry at Bengt's funeral.
