Heartwarming / King of Kings: GaoGaiGar vs. Betterman

• Mamoru and Guy have plenty of moments, with Guy being impressed at how much Mamoru has grown, even noting that in some respects, Mamoru has surpassed him.
  • Late in the novel series the two spend an evening drinking together and musing on how far they've come since the TV series, and coming up with the idea of holding their weddings together.
• Keita is depressed that the house he was planning on moving into with Hinoki was destroyed by a Zero Robo, which also messed with his planned marriage proposal to her, basically making him think he doesn't deserve her. Nonetheless, Hinoki makes it clear that, regardless of the circumstances, she wants to be with him.
  Hinoki: Kei...even without the house, the place I want to come home to is wherever you are.
