• The Heeler family offering to take care of Nathan with little to no argument.
• Bingo warming up to Nathan after the latter cares for her after she injures herself.
  • Hell, just any of the brother-sister moments Nathan has with Bluey and Bingo are this.
  • On top of that, Socks' (and Muffin's) strong adoration for Nathan as a whole.
• Bluey's friends (sans Mackenzie) instantly accept Nathan with open arms despite him being a human.
• After Bluey gets scolded by Chilli for sneaking Nathan to school, the latter immediately tries to take the fall for it. Whilst he doesn't succeed, it's still a sweet gesture.
• Wendy comforting Nathan after she learns about his parents' fate and even reprimanding Judo for expressing disgust to his presence.
  • Then a few chapters later when Nathan's situation is explained to the Canistralia public and that he isn't a threat, Wendy instantly vouches for the human to be acknowledged as a citizen.
• After learning of Nathan's newfound relationship with Hailey, all four members don't hesitate to ensure that his date with the Husky goes as smoothly as possible.
• Bluey and Nathan making up in the 'Babysitter Putdown' chapter.
• Nathan and Mackenzie finally becoming friends after the latter had been very distrustful of him.
  • Later when Mackenzie has a nightmare, Nathan is quick to comfort him. Before going back to sleep, Nathan briefly wakes up to notice Mackenzie now sleeping next to him much like an actual dog sleeping with it's beloved owner. Awwwwwwww
• Shortly after the 16th chapter was uploaded, the cover for the fanfic was replaced with a more fitting and much sweeter piece of artwork depicting a human, evidently Nathan, sitting at the Heeler's doorstep with the two Heeler sisters, all of whom are huddled together in an embrace.
• Harley and her father patching up Nathan after the latter gets badly injured by Hailey and Daniel and Harley even training Nathan in martial arts. Despite him being a rusty yellow belt, he manages to win against Daniel.
• The tender moment Nathan and Jack have at the end of Chapter 18 is very sweet with Nathan figuring out about Jack's ADHD and telling the little Jack Russell that despite this flaw, he's still very much a young well-meaning dog with well-deserved friends.
• Nathan's speech at his biological parent's funeral. It manages to bring Wendy to tears.
  • Afterwards, Muffin asks Nathan that, even if Chilli and Bandit don't adopt him, if she and Socks can still call Nathan their cousin. The human agrees before pulling Muffin into a hug.
