• "In the Woods Somewhere" is mostly filled with mournful vocals and a creeping sense of dread, but the ending is surprisingly uplifting. The singer, having begun the song in a suicidal stupor after the loss of his love, realizes that he doesn't actually want to die when he's accosted by the thing in the woods, and resolves to continue living after his escape.
