  • Jack's slow turnaround into believing in Jann, and the concept of a sim racing video game translating to real-world driving skill. By the point of Jann's Nürburgring crash, he'd already been well on-board with him, and is very distressed as he immediately rushes to check on him, and stays with him all the way through to his hospital room, with his main priority being Jann's health and well-being. After Jann's recovery, Jack slowly but promptly nudges him back into the racing mindset, driving him to the site of the crash, telling him of his past Le Mans racing incident which made him quit, and to not make the same mistake he made.
  • Jann's love interest Audrey managing to make it in time for his FIA contract signing, and spending time with him exploring Tokyo.
  • Similarly, Jann's father's turnaround after firmly believing that his son's dream was impossible and too risky. To Jann's surprise, he shows up at the highly anticipated 24 Hours of Le Mans race to greet him in his trailer, the two sharing an emotional moment of closure, with the two hugging, welling up, and saying how proud they are of the other. Archie Madekwe and Djimon Hounsou's acting shines big time here.
    • Jann having put a sticker of his father's soccer team logo on his helmet starting with the final GT Academy qualifying race, and which he points out during the two's meeting before that race. Despite everything his father told him, Jann tearfully tells him his work and success in racing was truly done for him.
    • After finishing on the podium, of the people who helped get Jann to that point, Jack, Danny, his Academy classmates, and his friends and family celebrate with him, followed by a montage of pictures and videos of the real Jann during his GT Academy and subsequent racing career.
  • Jann notices that Jack uses an old MP3 player, and while exploring Tokyo after earning his FIA license, Jann buys a new Walkman for him, which comes in handy in the final race.
  • Arriving to help him as a shift driver in the 24 Hours race, Jann's former GT Academy classmate Matty shows the same appreciation and sportsmanship towards him as he did when he won the final qualifying Academy race that eliminated him.
