  • UMP45's MOD III story, which takes place after Deep Dive, features a rare moment where she cries her heart out while conversing with her personal instance of OGAS, which has taken on the form of UMP40 and is every bit as nice as 45 remembers her.
  • The Glory Day event is superficially about five T-Dolls battling Sangvis Ferri within a mashup of various DJMAX music video settings. At its core, however, is a story about M950A and Thunder's character flaws and how they use their budding friendship to overcome them and become better people, with a majority of their screentime together being a mixture of heartwarming and Tear Jerker.
  • At the end of the Isomer event, RO635 and M4 SOPMOD II finally get reunited with M4A1 and AR-15 after several months, with SOP II running over and giving M4 a big bear hug and bawling her eyes out. Although there's no unique illustration for this scene, one can easily imagine it looking like this from the writing. When she does the same for AR-15, she briefly complains about SOP II having always been a crybaby before letting up on her stoic facade, giving SOP II headpats in return.
  • M950's mod story reveals that the DJMAX event is canon, meaning that Griffon really did manage to save the DJMAX world!
  • The Gunslinger Girl collaboration has some heartwarming moments.
    • The virtual world the Cyborgs have been living in was created by Jean to give the girls the happy childhood they never had when they were still alive. Their former handlers even left recorded messages to the girls, where they regret how they treated them in the past and hope they found happiness in their new lives in cyberspace.
    • While it was Adapted Out in the English version, in the Chinese version, Kalina discovers the last administrator of the virtual world was none other than Speranza Guellfi, Triela's biological daughter born after her death in the manga. Apparently, Speranza learn the truth about her mother and keep watch on her mother and her friends in the virtual world. When World War 3 broke out, as a final act of love to her mother, Speranza gave Henrietta administrator rights, knowing one day that someone will save the cyborgs in the future.
    • At the end of the Gunslinger Girl collaboration, the Commander and Kalina move Triela, Rico, Angelica, Claes, and Henrietta onto Griffin's servers and give them T-Doll bodies, allowing them to finally earn their happy endings.

Anime Adaptation

  • In Commander Gentiane's first battle, she chooses her plan carefully and sees to it that her T-dolls suffer no casualties. Due to memory backups and repairs meaning t-dolls can always be recovered, other humans and even the t-dolls themselves tend to view t-dolls as being some measure of expendable. Later in the episode, the squad warmly thanks Gentiane in person, with FNC giving Gentiane some chocolate and the whole group saluting and formally welcoming Gentiane to the base.
  • Gentiane made MP5 happy when she does the headpat.
