• As Hoodwink is introduced in prison, Briar is introduced explaining to him how easy it would be for him to bribe Hoodwink out of prison. Hoodwink is being tried as a terrorist and sentenced to death that day but Briar insists getting him off the hook won't be a problem.
• The lengths Hoodwink is willing to go to in order to keep his daughter safe continually escalate and he never complains.
