  • In "Bill Goes to Therapy," after Bill opens up about how burned out he is and about how he's not sure if he's cut out to be a doctor, Psychiatry says, "Bill, you know you're a good doctor, right?" Bill looks momentarily shocked, then thanks Psychiatry while looking like he's holding back tears. It's clear how much he needed to hear that he was a good doctor.
  • In "How to Ace Your Pediatrics Residency Interview," when the interview candidate seems like he's doubting if he wants to pursue pediatrics after seeing how intense the workload is, a six-year-old gives him a hug for being a good doctor. This makes the candidate realize that he wants to do pediatrics after all.
  • In "Happy Birthday, Family Medicine," seeing how ecstatic Family Medicine is to get Jonathan, even if it's only for twelve hours.
  • In "The Med Student Goes to Therapy," the med student is devastated and feeling like a failure due to not matching into a residency program. Psychiatry reminds him of his past accomplishments (getting into med school, passing his classes, getting glowing letters of recommendation) and reassures him that he is not a failure and that he will match on future residency cycles.
Psychiatry: So give yourself some grace and realize that this is a temporary setback amidst a long list of accomplishments. And when you're ready, you're going to get to work, and you're going to come back stronger and smarter.
  • In "A Valentine's Day Faculty Meeting," which is about the characters giving each other valentines, Nephrology writes a card where he tells Ortho that he is smart. Ortho is shocked and excited by this.
  • Bill's graduation from residency. The Neurologist even genuinely wishes him luck.
