  • During the musical number in "A Big Favor For Grampy", there's a part where Clyde the Cloud hugs Donkey while singing.
  • "The Masked Veggies" has multiple scenes where Donkey and pals cheer on Purple Panda when he's on the titular game show. There's also a musical number about how friends will always be there even if they aren't close by.
  • "Donkey's Bad Day" has the memory box scene, where Donkey and Panda find objects that remind them of past episodes and use them to help Donkey cheer up.
  • "Yodel Bird Egg" revolves around Donkey and Panda taking care of a lost Yodel Bird egg that they find. The duo try their best to protect it until they find their parent, and it pays off in the end when they get to watch it hatch.
  • The ending of "Panda's Special Something" has Panda solve his problem of missing his old hoodie by giving it to Donkey Hodie when she feels cold on the walk home.
  • In "Cheesy Con", Donkey misses the titular convention after tripping on a toy truck and spraining her foot. Panda solves this problem by bringing the con to her, showing how much he cares about his best friend.
  • The whole premise of "A Donkey Hodie Halloween" is Donkey explaining Halloween traditions to Purple Panda to help him not be scared.
  • "Yodel Bird Sitting" has the characters talking about memories of strategies their caregivers used to get them to nap when they were little. There's also the moment in which Donkey sings a lullaby to the baby yodel bird.
  • In "Uniquely Panda", there is a scene where after Panda figures out he's not like typical pandas, Donkey has a talk with him about how special he is, followed by a musical number.
  • When Donkey Hodie and Purple Panda presented at the innagural Children's And Family Emmys ceremony, Purple Panda got nervous that only one show would win an award. This lead Donkey to state her opinion on awards shows, which caused the audience watching to applaud in approval:
    "Being nominated is already amazing on its' own, and I'm really proud of everybody!"
