- Tyson Kidd's neck injury that brought a sudden and premature end to their tag team also opened the door for Cesaro to participate as a singles competitor in John Cena's US Open Challenge. This resulted in two critically acclaimed matches, the second of which was a 40+ minute main event after the positive reception to the first. In the first match, the proud Swissman sported a wristband bearing the red maple leaf of Canada's flag, as well as pink-and-black tights - both nods to his injured teammate and the Hart dungeon legacy. And to top it all off, he broke out the Sharpshooter. The crowd went berserk.
