After forcing Saori to use her trump card and defeating her, Ryota and Kuroha try as best as they can to return to Kana in time with the medicine that they could scrounge, only to find Kana in a bloody state. All hope seemed lost, but thanks to the timely arrival of Kazumi who gambled on Saori's defeat, she and Kana were able to stretch out their lifespans for twenty more hours by splitting Kazumi's last pill, long enough for for Ryota and Kuroha to reach Kana and give her a full pill.
Kotori, who spent one full week on borrowed time thanks to her friend to reach her birthday (who wanted Kotori to become 16 at the cost of her own ending life since her birthday was one week after Kotori's), was ultimately talked out of suicide and was congratulated on her birthday by her newfound friends.
Kuroha and Ryouta when facing off against Valkyria. She regains all of her childhood memories, identifies herself as Kuroneko, gives Ryouta a kiss as well as a Love Confession. And manages to stop Valkyria from destroying anything else. Shame it doesn't last...
In chapter 114, Kikka becomes Fire-Forged Friends with Kana due to the two surviving the hospital drasil attack and the lengths both of them went through to protect the other. Kikka was more upset that Kana didn't show up at school shortly afterwards.
