  • Josh's little sister is the only family member who recognizes him as an adult. She giggles as he helps get her downstairs and set her up in a moving toy.
  • After Josh proves to Billy that it's him, Billy takes charge of the situation. He says that they need to find the Zoltar machine, get Josh a place to stay, and a job. Billy "borrows" his dad's emergency money and clothes to help his friend, and gets them on a bus to New York.
  • Josh and MacMillan bonding at FAO Schwartz—with MacMillan definitely being impressed and appreciative of Josh's unique perspective toward toys and promoting him to a bigger and better position in the company as a result. This also leads into the famous scene of the two playing the life-sized piano in front of everyone—which in and of itself definitely counts too. Even though he doesn't know the circumstances, MacMillan is still affectionately won over by Josh nonetheless.
  • It gets ruined in a few minutes, but Paul actually has a good time playing racquetball with Josh and teaching him the rules. He even applauds him for getting a few points into the game.
  • When Josh explains to Susan why he's decided to go back to his life as a teenager:
Josh: There's a million reasons for me to go, but there's only one reason for me to stay.
    Susan: And what's that?
    Josh: Well... you.
  • Susan realizes Josh was telling the truth about being a kid. She walks out of their meeting after he runs out, and calls after him as he gets into a cab. When Susan sees Billy cheering on Josh, she asks for his help. Billy gives her the place where he's going.
  • In the end, Billy and Josh are walking around as nothing happened. It seems mundane, but that is friendship.
