Heartwarming / AXIS

• The inversion causes Doctor Doom to realize how much of a bastard he's been and how much pain he's caused. He then atones by undoing his own Moral Event Horizon; he uses a powerful magick to revive Scott Lang's daughter Cassie, whom he had personally killed a year or so earlier in Avengers: The Children's Crusade. The narration explicitly notes that he could've used that spell to heal the scarring on his face or destroy the Fantastic Four once and for all and that he would probably never get a chance like this again. Doctor Doom just sacrificed his one chance at true happiness in order to save the life of an innocent.
• Even better, it's soon after revealed that he took the chance to also bring back Brother Voodoo.
• Magneto becoming a full hero at the end. After all the failed attempts he made in the past to become a good guy, it's wonderful to see him finally succeed, at least for a little bit.
• Mystique being The Atoner and expressing genuine un-manipulative love for her now evil children Nightcrawler and Rogue despite their attempts to kill her is definitely heartwarming.
• Zenpool's "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight to Evan Sabahnur:
  "Dude—no one liked En Sabah Nur! But everyone loves Evan! Evan's that hope that we can all be better. That no matter where we come from, no matter how bad it was or what people expect us to be—nurture can beat nature."
• A moment that's equal parts heartwarming and funny: Spidey keeping his promise to inverted!Carnage. Much to his frustration.
• The closing narration where Sabretooth vows to redeem himself to honor Logan's memory.
• Mystique of all people becoming a loving mother and vowing to save her son Nightcrawler while he's been inverted to evil. Probably the only time in comic history where Mystique displays unconditional friendly care and love towards poor Kurt.
