  • Hajime seeing Chiaki alive and well again, finally getting to speak with her after what, to him, has been several long years.
  • One of the anons telling Chiaki "Chiaki, this may seem like strange advice, but if the school approaches either you, Hajime, or anyone else offering to make all your dreams come true by giving you "all the talents in the world", this anon very strongly recommends you not accept the offer. In fact as class rep, you might tell your classmates they shouldn't accept the offer either. I promise it will end very badly, even for those with low self-esteem like Hajime. The offer is not worth it." to which she says "Just hearing that sounds pretty shady. I wouldn’t recommend anyone take that offer."
  • After Ruruka's practical exam, she presents Seiko with her first ever sugar free candy. Not only does Seiko like it, she starts crying Tears of Joy at her best friend's creation.
  • Sora and Yoruko's reunion, along with Setsuka and Umeko's.
  • After Hibiki learns she's essentially been disowned and homeless now, the rest of Class 77-B immediately offer to give her a place to stay.
  • After Natsumi confesses to her brother that she wanted to be an Ultimate because she always felt like she's not good enough, Fuyuhiko tells her that she's his sister, and she is good enough for him.
    • After Fuyuhiko says his part, Peko chimes in and claims that she never felt one was better then the other. To her, both siblings are equal in skill.
  • Really, everything with the Warriors of Hope and their honorary families.
    • Iroha and Jataro bond over their love of art, and after seeing how much he's endured from his mother's neglect and emotional abuse, she asks to remove his mask. From then on, she constantly reminds him that she loves him and provides him with physical and emotional affection at every opportunity.
    • Kotoko, after bonding with Mikan during her checkups, runs away from home and the nurse promises her a place to stay. She becomes a little sister to Mikan and the rest of the Cuddle Puddle, staying in Chiaki's house and spending time with them all. Emma even makes her a disguise so she and Mikan can look more like each other. And after she's freed and her father is arrested, Mikan wastes no time in applying to officially adopt her.
    • After Masaru is hospitalized courtesy of his father, Emma immediately makes plans to fly to Japan and speak to him, offering him her support. Once he's released, she and Hajime M. both regularly take him out to the park, essentially acting like the kind of parents he's never had. She later convinces her own adopted parents to adopt him as well.
    • Nagisa also gets the kind of parental support he's never had courtesy of Umeko and Setsuka. He's bewildered by the idea that they don't hold him to any high expectations and show him affection, and they make it clear they love him and they're proud of him no matter what.
    • Monaca, after forcibly aging herself up, is taken in by Kyoji, who had already been working with her behind the scenes before and returns the favor by buying an apartment for them (and later Kanade) to stay in. This helps lead to her becoming a better person, and in turn she takes a genuine interest in his well-being.
  • Speaking of Emma, she has a close relationship with her talent agent, Roger Wilcox. When she was younger and living in a slum, she found an audition flyer and got a chance to appear in a commercial, which is how her acting career began. After another commercial shooting, she met Roger, who offered to represent her. Not long afterward, when he saw what kind of conditions she was living in, he worked to help get her away from her biological father and into the care of a kind British couple. Years later, Roger still cares for her, letting her have any space she needs and making sure she's healthy.
  • After Emma admits her own history with Abusive Parents to Mikan and Kotoko, she claims that compared to Kotoko (who ended up with HIV thanks to what her father did to her), she really has no right to complain. The two of them both shoot that down and state that just because she never suffered from sexual abuse like they did, it doesn't make her feelings any less valid. Emma smiles and states that they can be on a First-Name Basis with her.
  • At the end of the Storm Arc, Hajime apologizes to Chiaki for not telling her she died in the original timeline sooner, stating that it felt like he just wanted to forget it. He also adds that Chiaki was the first person who made him feel like he matters.
  • All of the Mistletoe Arc.
  • The reveal of Kana's real backstory. As it turns out, Chiaki's dad never cheated. He had willingly agreed to act as a sperm donor for Misako as her husband wanted to have a child, but was sterile. They were even planning to raise the two girls together, with Misako and the Nanamis being close friends. Even after losing contact for many years, all of them eagerly want to reconnect once everything settles down.
    • Following this reveal, Chiaki and Kana decide to become sisters for real, deciding better late then never.
  • Kokoro trying her hardest to apologize and reconnect with Mikako. It isn't easy, but the two of them gradually work out their differences, with Kokoro trying hard to change and Mikako working to understand her mother's condition.
    • When Mikako heads home after a long stay at Hope's Peak, she says she can't forgive Kokoro... because she doesn't really know her yet. As such, she decides to stop by as often as she can and, in her words, maybe the two of them can learn to be okay.
    • While it doubles as a Tearjerker, when Kanade attacks Hope's Peak, Kokoro shields Mikako from her and lands an attack on Kanade, receiving a fatal stab in the process. In tears, Mikako calls her "mother" for the first time and begs her to not leave, while Kokoro asks her to be good, hoping this is at least proof she does love her. It's ultimately undone thanks to a reset, but the feelings are still there.
    • Just before she heads off to join the Quantum Crew in their mission to Storm's island, Mikako calls Kokoro "Mom". This time, a reset doesn't take it away from her.
    • Overall, Kokoro genuinely expresses a much warmer demeanor around Mikako and grows more protective of her, from being overjoyed at seeing her happy in a photo to offering her lab coat as a blanket when she falls asleep. She also shows a desire to help save more children from suffering. This is clearly a far cry from the woman she used to be.
  • As heartbreaking as Kana's situation is, knowing she's at death's door thanks to her injury, she spends her time comforting Chiaki, assuring her that what happened isn't her fault. And when Chiaki shares the whole story with her, Kana tells her that, in spite of all the bad things other people might do, she's a hero.
    • Kana also asks if the two of them met in the previous timeline, which Chiaki confirms they never did. While they weren't together for very long, Kana's happy for what time they had.
  • When Hajime has a Heroic BSoD over his belief that he's actually making things worse for people, Mikan tells him that while he's made mistakes, he's also made several people's lives much better.
  • In spite of their annoyance with their kids basically letting a stranger move into their house, once Mikan and Hibiki explain their former living arrangements, Chiaki and Hajime's parents are happy to let them stay with them and they gradually bond with them as well.
  • Mikan finally gets her answer about Kotoko's adoption: Yes.
  • Doubles as a Tear Jerker. When Makunouchi and Jataro discover Emma having a relapse episode, the little boy asks how much she's hurting and tries to help her with a hug.
  • The climax of Iroha's card duel against Akemi reveals that the sisters have new respect for one another which inspires hope for their other siblings. Additionally, the Voids assure them that they have their support and can help them escape their Abusive Parents if/when they're ready to move on.
  • Mondo rescuing Akane Owari's stepmom Honoka after she was kidnapped in front of her daughter Teruko. Honoka is relieved to be reunited with her daughter safe and sound, and when Mondo and the other Crazy Diamonds hear about the Owari's family issues, they don't hesitate to offer their support. Word of God says Mondo's example is what inspires Teruko to join in the future, and she eventually take over the Crazy Diamonds.
  • Akemi's relationship with Rumi, one of Sayaka's bandmates, over the course of the All Eyes on Me Arc. Within the span of only two or three days, the two of them grow closer together, with Rumi showing admiration for Akemi's art and encouraging her to do things like ditch her corset, and Akemi finding her both stunningly beautiful and someone who she can trust. It doesn't take long for the two to fall in love, and thanks to Hitoshi preventing Akemi's death at the hands of her mother, the two end up getting married and having a kid together in 2030.
  • After Hajime is faced with the possibility of having to break his Thou Shalt Not Kill rule in order to stop Mizuta and Tsumugi, both Fuyuhiko and Nikei offer to do it for him, simply because they've both killed before and want to spare him the pain. Everybody else he confronts about the situation also try to reassure him when they see how depressed and scared he is.
