Headscratchers / There's Something About Mary

• How many houses bend around so they have a bathroom that can look across to other windows with a tree between them? It's required for the scene, but it's pretty weird when you think about it.
  • It's (relatively) common for a Big Fancy House to have "wings" with a courtyard between them, and it was shown that Mary's home is very nice. Ted was in a bathroom in one wing, and Mary's room was in the other wing across the courtyard.
• Have the creators ever said what happened after the end (when the guy tries to shoot Ted and misses?) I always liked to imagine that Magda managed to subdue him before he could shoot them.
• How did Pat know Mary and Magda were eavesdropping on his scripted phone conversation with Sully?
  • He knew they eavesdropped on calls from his previous spying, and he probably was still spying on them so knew they were listening in before he made this call.
