• Is there any specific reason why Maria was to be found in the airport cafe?
  • Towards the end of the movie as Trevor is driving to the police station with Ivan, he briefly considers going in the direction of the airport, but instead goes through with turning himself in downtown. I would theorize that meeting her at the airport was him being torn between his desire to flee from the truth and his guilt again, as he fled the scene of his crime before, and Maria symbolizing his guilty conscience and desire to confront the truth, and ultimately to own up for what he did.
